The 27-year-old Venetian Niccolò Quintarelli has been a member of the Italian national team for six years, racking up many victories. In 2011, he won a spot on the Italian team that won the silver medal in the Universiade. In October of the same year he went pro, ranking 5th at the Open Championship and 13th at the Qualifying School, earning a spot on the Alps Tour. After a good season in the Alps Tour, he joined the Challenge Tour, where he worked hard for three years, while also participating in the European Tour. He ranks 27th in the National Order of Merit. Niccolò is one of our athletes at Golf della Montecchia, but often plays at Frassanelle as well, describing it in this way: “It is a course that you need to address with a lot of attention, because it’s full of traps. Both the par 3 with the small greens and the par 5 with the water obstacles require precise tee shots to take best advantage of the fairways and gain meters towards the green”. He faced the stage of the Alps Tour at Frassanelle.
