Born in Venice in 1997, Guido began playing golf at the age of nine, showing a strong passion and great talent for the game. He joined the Italian national team at 14. He has been a member of the Club della Montecchia and won six Italian titles since 2011: the International Under 16 Championship, the Duke of York, the Junior World Match Play, the French International Boys and European Nations Championship. His greatest success was in Portugal, where he won the 86th Portuguese International Amateur Championship. Today he ranks 12th in Europe and is a super Pro. Guido trains for up to four hours every day between practice and gym at the Montecchia Performance Center and his idols are Tiger Woods and Matteo Manassero. He loves the sport for many reasons: “It tests you during every training session and competition, but I also love it for its fun and social side, it lets you have fun with your friends, travel and meet lots of people”. The professional player Niccolò Bisazza has been his guru and instructor almost since the beginning, after taking Guido under his wing at the age of 12.
